The Ramón Pla Armengol Foundation manages and promotes the legacy of the Pla Monseny family through the contributions of Doctor Ramón Pla Armengol and his daughter, Nuria Pla Monseny.
The Foundation focuses on social work, supports medical research and actively participates in the restoration and promotion of the old laboratory and the Ravetllat–Pla institute. Its foundational activities also include the provision of support for medical research through the Ramón Pla Armengol Research Scholarship.
A building with a lot of history
Since 2011, the mansion that serves as the family home and laboratory has been open to the public for guided tours.
Thanks to its restoration and maintenance, the Ravetllat-Pla Institute now reopens its doors as Nuria Pla House Museum, showcasing one of the most important collections of Spanish furniture in the world.
